Delete it yourself in the app (instant)

Open the Katran app and sign in.
Tap your profile picture (top right) to open Account.
Tap Delete my account at the bottom and confirm with Google.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Or ask us by email

Send an email to girnarec0@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Katran account" from the Google account you use in Katran. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Delete only some of your data

You can remove a newspaper profile and its logo without deleting your account:

In the app, tap Change ▾ next to your newspaper (or Account → My newspapers).
Tap the 🗑 button next to the newspaper and confirm.

The newspaper's name, details and logo are deleted from our servers immediately. You can also email us to delete specific data.

What gets deleted

Your account (name, email, profile photo link, user ID)
Your newspaper profiles and logos
Your Premium plan and plan requests
Usage information linked to your account (sign-in dates, download count)

When you delete in the app, the cuttings made with your newspapers are also removed from that phone.

What we keep

Nothing linked to you. News cuttings are never stored on our servers in the first place.
